The study shows that the top 5 most hackable cars are: 2014 Jeep Cherokee, the 2014 Infiniti Q50, the 2015 Cadillac Escalade, the 2010 and 2014 Toyota Prius and the 2014 Ford Fusion.
Apart from the most hackable cars, the study also tells the least hackable cars: The 2014 Audi A8, the 2014 Dodge Viper, the 2014 Honda Accord and the Tesla Model S. These safest cars tend to have fewest computerized and networked parts and the in-vehicle communication systems can’t talk to the physical components.

Next, the hacker sends messages to cyber-physical components, and then finally makes the destination engine control unit perform some desired action.
